Abstract

This research starts from the problem of the students' low mathematical problem solving abilities so that it influences learning outcomes under the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM), namely 6. An alternative solution to improve learning outcomes is by applying a problem based learning model. The method used in this study is a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental type. The design of this study uses Nonequivalent Control group Design. The population taken was all fifth grade students of SDN 2 Nagrikidul. The sample taken is class 5A as an experiment and Class 5B as a control. The sampling technique used is saturated sampling, where all of these techniques are used as samples in the study. The data collection technique uses objective tests, while the instruments used are tests in the form of essays. The results showed that there was an influence on the ability of mathematical problem solving between the experimental groups by applying the problem based learning model and the control group with the direct intruction model. This is evidenced from the results of the t-test at the 5% significance level obtained by the calculated significance of 0.939 <0.05. Whereas for the increase, the results of the t-test at the 5% significance level obtained a calculated significance lower than 0.05, namely 0.02 <0.05, so that it can be stated that learning with the Problem Based Learning model has an effect on improving mathematical problem solving skills.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kecerdasan kinestetik siswa dengan menerapkan metode bermain. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang terdiri dari tiga siklus dan tiap siklusnya terdiri atas empat tahap yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi, dengan subjek penelitian yaitu siswa di SD Negeri Nangela Kecamatan Paseh Kabupaten Bandung tahun ajaran 2017/2018. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes praktek, observasi, wawancara, pembuatan jurnal catatan guru dan penyebaran angket. Hasil tes kecerdasan kinestetik siswa pada pembelajaran akuatik yang menggunakan metode bermain pada siklus I yaitu; 9,5 % memperoleh kriteria cukup baik (sebanyak 4 siswa), 81 % memperoleh kriteria baik (sebanyak 34 siswa), dan 9,5 % memperoleh kriteria sangat baik (sebanyak 4 siswa). Kecerdasan kinestetik siswa pada pembelajaran akuatik yang menggunakan metode bermain pada siklus II yaitu; 59,5 % memperoleh kriteria baik (sebanyak 25 siswa), dan 40,5 % memperoleh kriteria sangat baik (sebanyak 17 siswa). Serta hasil kecerdasan kinestetik siswa pada pembelajaran akuatik yang menggunakan metode bermain pada siklus III yaitu; 19 % memperoleh kriteria baik (sebanyak 8 siswa), dan 81 % memperoleh kriteria sangat baik (sebanyak 34 siswa). Kesimpulan yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini yaitu penerapan metode bermain dapat meningkatkan kecerdasan kinestetik siswa pada pembelajaran akuatik di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

The study aimed to describe the state of early poblem solving, the effectiveness of learning, and discription the application of the learning to had work character and problem solving mathematics students. The research is the kind of research concurerent embedded. Technic the data with using interviews, observation, and tests. Technic data analysis using analysis discriptif and statistical tests influence regression, the appeal, and test an increase in the gain. The results of the study showed that the initial conditions problem solving students average be low; effectiveness of indicated by the average capability problem solving mathematical students experiment has reached KKM that is above 74,5%, the ability problem solving mathematical class experiment better than class control, hard work and skill problem solving mathematical students have had a positive impact of the ability of mathematical problem soling students, with big the influence of 88,7%, increased capacity problem solving mathematical class experiment higher than class control; the results of a description of this research is improving hard work students; skills literacy mathematics; and ability problem solving mathematical stdents with a score of the gain 0,59; 0,66; 0,70.

Abstract

The goal of this research to see affect of interesting and motivation toward the students learning achievement at VII Bintara elementary school. Bekasi city. The research using description approach and quantitative method with correlation design. The result of this research show learning that both free variables learning interesting (X1) and learning motivation (X2) have a strong affect and significant toward the bound variables learning achievement (Y) , the learning interest variable (X1) have a positive and strong correlation toward the learning achievement variable. It means if the bigger variable score learning interesting (X1) will increase learning achievement (Y) it also toward learning motivation (X2) have a positive correlation to the learning achievement (Y) . The population in this research are 465 students at VII Bintara elementary school Bekasi city 25% x 465 = 116.25, elementary school students at VII Bintara make to become 116 students.Constanta is big as 13.477 said that if no score both variable above togetherness, so every (one) score X variables will increase learning achievement (Y)  as big 1.257 times whereas add one score from X2 variable will increase learning achievement (Y) as big as -0.399 times.            The answer from the respondents as much as 116 students with 24 questioners after counting used statistical product and service solution (SPSS) 16.0 said that if learning interesting (X1) and learning motivation (X2) togetherness  will affect of learning achievement (Y) with regression coeffisien 1.257 X1 + coeffision 0.399 X2 so will be affect to the learning achievement (Y) as big as costanta 13.477.Seen that score F.460.009 > F table (1.92), so Ho is accepted that it means both variables togetherness significant affect the variable toward learning achievement (Y).If faced to these problems and conclusion gotten we suggest the things as below :Needing emphazising to students at VII Bintara elementary school Bekasi city, in order to have learning interest and learning achievement wil be successful.Needing emphazising to all students at VII Bintara elementary school Bekasi city in order to increase the learning motivation so the learning achievement will be successful.Needing emphazising to students at VII Bintara elementary school Bekasi city in carrying out daily learning activity must refer to learning interest and motivation so the learning achievement will be reached.

Abstract

Kemampuan representasi matematis merupakan salah satu kemampuan yang harus dimiliki siswa sekolah dasar. Representasi merupakan fokus utama dalam mengkonstruksi pemahaman siswa. Dengan adanya kemampuan representasi dapat membantu siswa dalam memecahkan masalah matematika. Selain itu masalah yang tadinya rumit akan menjadi lebih konkret sehingga akan menjadi lebih mudah siswa selesaikan. Tujuan penelitian ini  yaitu untuk mengetahui kemampuan representasi matematis siswa dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan matematika yang berkaitan dengan materi volume kubus dan balok Kabupaten Sumedang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode Kualitatif. Subjek penelitian yaitu siswa sekolah dasar di SDN Manangga Kabupaten Sumedang dengan jumlah 23 siswa. Berdasarkan hasil analisis  data dari 23 orang siswa, secara keseluruhan kemampuan representasi matematis di SDN Manangga mencapai 47% berada dalam kategori sangat rendah. Jika dilihat per aspek kemampuan representasi, untuk kemampuan representasi verbal mencapai 61% dalam kategori rendah, kemampuan representasi simbol mencapai 29% dalam kategori sangat rendah, dan untuk kemampuan representasi visual mencapai 50% berada dalam kategori sangat rendah. Dari analisis jawaban siswa, rendahnya kemampuan representasi siswa disebabkan karena siswa mengalami beberapa kesulitan. Kesulitan-kesulitan siswa pada indikator representasi verbal dikarenakan kurangnya pemahaman dalam memahami permasalahan, khususnya dalam penelitian ini adalah materi volum kubus dan balok, siswa yang kebingunan dalam menuliskan langkah-langkah penyelesaian dalam bentuk kata-kata. Kesulitan siswa pada indikator representasi simbol, siswa mengalami siswa mengalami kekeliruan dalam menuliskan model matematika Penulisan langkah-langkah penyelesaian dengan menggunakan persamaan matematika dari rumus volume balok tidak sistematis, dan terdapat siswa yang kurang tepat menuliskan lambang simbol volume, panjang, lebar dan tinggi. Sedangkan kesulitan-kesulitan siswa dalam indikator representasi visual, siswa masih kesulitan dalam mengubah infomasi verbal dari soal ke dalam bentuk ilustrasi gambar, terlihat dari siswa yang tidak tepat dalam menentukan ukuran yang telah ditentukan oleh soal, sehingga menyebabkan kesalahan dalam menentukan volume balok.

Abstract

This study aims to describe language errors (phonological, morphological, syntactic, semantic, and spelling errors) in narrative essays in class V students of SDN Margacinta, South Sumedang District. To achieve these objectives a descriptive qualitative study was carried out with steps: collecting student language error data and analyzing language errors. The research subjects were fifth grade students of Margacinta Elementary School in South Sumedang District, Sumedang Regency. The results of the study showed that there were language errors in students' narrative essays which included errors in the fields of phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, and spelling. Phonological errors were 23 (26.74%), morphological errors were 7 (8.13%), syntactic errors were 16 (18.60%), semantic errors were 13 (15.11%), and spelling errors were 27 ( 31.39%). The most common error in the narrative essay is that the spelling error was 27 (31.39%) while the least common type of error was errors in the morphology field of 7 (8.13%) errors. Spelling mistakes that often appear are errors in capital letters, mistakes in writing prepositions, errors in the use of punctuation, and errors in writing words that are not in accordance with the rules of the correct language.

Abstract

Seeing the reality of this modern age, many influences of technology and play facilities are increasingly diverse, so it is not easy to raise awareness for Muslims, especially children to memorize the Qur'an, because it would be easier if memorizing the Koran began early age, so that the child will more quickly absorb the memory to achieve the expected memorization, then a place is needed to motivate and memorize the Qur'an. One of the schools that teaches the taḥfiẓ al-Qur'an program is class 1 C MIN 1 Yogyakarta. The objectives of this study are: (1) To find out the implementation of taḥfiẓ al-Qur'an learning program in the semester of 2017/2018 academic year in class 1 C MIN 1 Yogyakarta, (2) To find out the methods used in taḥfiẓ al-Qur'an learning even semester 2017/2018 academic year in class 1 C MIN 1 Yogyakarta, (3) To find out the supporting and inhibiting factors of ta'fi learning al-Qur'an the even semester of the academic year 2017/2018 in class 1 C MIN 1 Yogyakarta. This study uses a qualitative approach. The research subjects were class teachers and first grade students of C MIN 1 Yogyakarta, the object of this research was the implementation of the Qur'anic ta'fi program in class 1 C. data collection in this study through observation, interviews and documentation studies, and based on the data obtained the author of the analysis by focusing on things that are the subject of discussion, triangulation of data and drawing conclusions.        Based on the results of the research in the field the authors obtained findings including: (1) the background of the program taḥfiḥ al-Qur'an in class 1 C MIN 1 Yogyakarta, namely the demands of the times and needs of class, parents, and students; (2) the aim of the taḥfiẓ al-Qur'an program is to print the memorizing generation of the Qur'an early; (3) taḥfiḥ program is required for class 1 C with the target of memorizing juz 30 in odd semester and selected letters in even semester; (4) material covering juz 30 and selected letters chosen by the class teacher; (5) the scoring system in the form of daily deposits and financial examinations; (6) taḥfi pembelajaran learning process includes opening, muraja'ah, adding memorization, deposit and closing; (7) the methods used are Bī al-Nażar, Takrīr, Jama ’, Ṣima'i and Talaqqī; (8) supporting factors include student motivation and interest, use of mental rhythms, teacher attention, conducive time and appreciation for students who have passed memorization; (9) inhibiting factors, namely the ability of different students, less able to manage time, lack of parental attention and almost the same.

Abstract

Abstrak : IPA adalah mata pelajaran yang berkaitan dengan cara mencari tahu tentang alam secara sistematis, sehingga IPA bukan saja hanya penguasaan kumpulan pengetahuan berupa fakta-fakta, konsep atau prinsip saja tetapi juga merupakan suatu proses penemuan. Pelajaran IPA dapat dijadikan wahana bagi siswa untuk mempelajari diri sendiri dengan alam sekitar yang selanjutnya dapat diterapkan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Melalui strategi pembelajaran contextual teaching and learningdapat memberi kontibusi terhadap motivasi belajar siswa kelas V di MIN 2 Samarinda. Sebab strategi pembelajaran CTL memiliki kelebihan di antaranya pembelajaran menjadi lebih bermakna dan riil,pembelajaran lebih produktif dan mampu menumbuhkan penguatan konsep siswa atau konstruktivisme. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui seberapa besar kontribusi strategi contextual teaching and learning (CTL) terhadap motivasi belajar siswa kelas V pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam di MIN 2 Samarinda.Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan satu variabel bebas dan satu variabel terikat yaitu strategi contextual teaching and learning (CTL) dan motivasi belajar siswa. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V MIN 2 Samarinda dengan jumlah populasi sebanyak 115 siswa. Penarikan sampel dengan teknik proportionate stratified random sampling menggunakan rumus Taro Yamane atau Slovin dengan jumlah 53 responden. Adapun pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dan analisis data menggunakan koefisien korelasi product moment dengan bantuan program SPSS versi 20.0.Berdasarkan hasil analisis secara kuantitatif maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat kontribusi positif yang signifikan antara strategi contextual teaching and learning terhadapmotivasi belajar siswa kelas V pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam di MIN 2 Samarinda dengan kategori sedang dengan nilai sig (2-tailed) 0.000 < 0.05, nilai r hitung = 0.567>r tabel = 0.271 dengan derajat kebebasan (dk) yaitu 53 – 2 = 51. Adapun hasil nilai t hitung= 4.918>t tabel = 2,008,sedangkan koefisien determinasi (r2) menunjukkan persentase sumbangan strategi contextual teaching and learningterhadap motivasi belajar siswa sebesar 32.2% dan 67,8% ditentukan oleh faktor lain.

Abstract

The Purpose of the study is to know Influence of Acrostic Technique to Poetry Writing Skills of Students. It was conducted at Al Amanah Islamic Elementary School South Tangerang, 5th grade semester 2015/2016. The method used in this study was quasi-experiment with Non-Equivalent Control Grup Design. Samples were taken by purposive sampling. The first samples included 36 students of experimental class using acrostic technique and 34 students of control class using conventional learning. Based on posttest score, average poetry writing skill of experiment class students who using acrostic technique was higher than average poetry writing skill of controll class students who using conventional learning method. The average pretest score of experiment class was 64,28, while of the control class was 61,21. On the other side, the averafe posttest scored of experiment class was74,89 and the control class was 70,00. Hipothesis two class calculation using T-tes, Paired Sample T Test, achived the significance level of 0,050 showing that probability value (significance) was 0,004. Due to significance of 0,004 < α = 0,050, H0 was rejected. This proved that usage of Acrostic Technique Influence to Poetry Writing Skills of Students 5th  Grade second semester at Al Amanah Islamic Elementary School South Tangerang 2015/2016.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of cross-line techniques on the ability of the student representation on the material multiplication in Al-Zahra Indonesia Elementary third grade second semester of the academic year 2017/2018. Cross-line technique is one technique that can facilitate students in operating multiplication on learning mathematics. The method used in this research is quasi experiment with Design Nonequivalent Contol Group Design. The sample used in this study consisted of 23 experimental class and control class which consisted of 22 students. The instrument used in this research is a test of mathematical representation ability in the form of description problem. The results showed that the average score of students taught by using cross-line technique is higher than the students taught without using cross-line technique that is with the value of 80,57> 70,05. The data analysis of the two classes was calculated using statistical analysis test on the final test (posttest). Based on the result of data analysis, there are significant differences between the two classes which are seen from the test result of Mann-Whitney U test hypothesis on post test data (0,048<0,05). In addition, based on the results of the calculation effect test (effect size) that has been done using the formula Cohen's got the value of the effect size of 0.561. The value of the influence test obtained interpreted that cross-line techniques have influence in the medium category. Thus, this indicates that there is an influence of the use of techniques that are cross-line to the ability of the mathematical representation in third grade elementary multiplication material of Al-Zahra Indonesia
